 General Orders 102, War Department, 9 November 1945
Battle Participation Credit for this Campaign was also awarded to the four 416th BG Squadrons.

Combat zone - European Theater of Operations exclusive of the land areas of the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Time limitation - 6 June to 24 July 1944.

The "Normandy" Campaign was originally established by General Orders 49, Section III, War Department, 1944.
