THE AUTHOR:
Nigel Staniforth
I have always been interested in history since I was young, I would have loved to have had a job involving history but instead went into IT.
What sparked the interest in the four subjects of this Ebook was that my grandfather and uncle witnessed the Barnehurst bomber incident and over the year's have heard the story, so after awhile I decided to research the Barnehurst bomber. As I progressed I added the other three incidents to the list as there was, I think not much information on the events.

Nigel graciously provided this digital Electronic book (E-book) for free download, it is not available in hard-copy. He asks that anyone who wants can make a donation in the UK to the following charities --
1. Bexley Archaeological Group (Facebook), who record history in my area by doing digs on historic sites and record what they find. They also record the history of the area for future generations.

Donations can be made to the PayPal account "Gillyarchaeology76@gmail.com".

2. The Kent Battle of Britain museum at Hawkinge in Kent. They have the largest collection of British/German artefacts in the world from the battle. I have been helping them over the years to trace relatives of the German crews etc so they can help with pictures of their loved ones and information on them so that they are remembered with the displays they have on them from items which was dug up at the crash sites etc. The Barnehurst bomber (which is the first story in the book) they have items donated from the time from the crash site. You will see that I have managed to find pictures of three of the four crew and was able to bring the daughter of the pilot to the UK in 2023 to show her the crash site etc. she is now a friend of mine.
The museum is looking for donations towards the "Saving six sets of Battle of Britain Aircrew Medals" fund to try and buy six medal sets of RAF personal from the battle which are going up for sale soon and could leave the UK and go into private collections, when they should stay in the UK and be displayed in the museum so that the public can see them.
