The focus of the Wethersfield Airfield Museum is preserving the history of RAF Wethersfield (1944-1990).

The Museum began in 2016. It was originally located at RAF Wetherseld Airfield, but had to shutdown and move to storage when the UK Home Office and UK Border Force took control of the airfield in 2022.
In June, 2024 the Museum took a rental lease on a property in Finchingfield, and the new museum display opened to the public August, 2024.
The museum remains free to enter and relies on donations and sale of donated items supplemented by grants from the Parish Councils and other organisations. It is open weekends Saturday and Sunday (10:00am to 4:00pm, last admission 3:00pm) from April until the end of October.
