416th Bombardment Group (L) Attack Bombers We Need You! A History of the 416th Bomb Group By Ralph Conte
|
Rear Cover Description:
Descendants of group members, including my own, have regularly inquired about the contributions of the 416th Group to the eventual victory in the European Theater of Operation in WWII. This book integrates the records of the four group squadrons into a time line that chronicles the group's accomplishments. This book was published to honor and remember all the 416th group members who participated, many of whom did not return, and to provide information to their families, descendants and others interested in the aerial bombardment conducted by the Attack Bombers of the 416th Group.
