Going back again on the 24th after the same target we had attacked on the 21st, our planes were again led by B-26's which bombed by the use of PFF. The results were unobserved. Capt. Dunn and Capt. McNulty led the two A-20 boxes.

Mission #84 - 24 June - AM - Middel Straete Noball. Two boxes of 15 planes in each were to bomb at 12,000 feet with PFF Pathfinder B-26 planes ahead of our group. Results were not available. No flak or fighters. Captain Dunn and Lt. Arrington, BN were on this mission.

On June 24th, in another transfer of personnel, the squadron lost two valuable crew members. Capt McNulty, pilot, and Lt Bursiel, bombardier, were transferred to the 668th Bomb Sq. Sixteen sorties were flown during this day; nine in the morning attack on the Middel Straete noball site, and seven on the afternoon attack on the Bagnolles De L'Orne fuel dumps.

The 416th ran off two missions on the 24th and 25th of June, hitting fuel dumps and No-Ball targets. Little flak was seen and no ships were lost. Bombing results for these missions was fair.
